Kicker designed their KS Series lineup to be a substantial stepup from your factory speakers. The KSS369 6"x9" 3-way component system features 6"x9" woofers deliver satisfying bass, while the 2-3/4" midrange drivers and 1" tweeters accentuate smoothness in your music's vocal and instrumental details. What does that mean for you? You'll finally hear what your factory speakers have been missing — a full spectrum of natural sound.
Why choose components?
In a 3-way component system, the tweeter and midrange driver are separated from the woofer so they can be mounted higher up in the car for a more direct path to your ears. The crossover network in a component system uses high-quality components to ensure a sharp delineation between the frequencies sent to the woofer, midrange, and tweeter. While installing components can mean a little more installation time, your music will sound more realistic, more "live," and have greater depth and imaging.
The 6 x 9" woofer can dip into lower frequencies for some serious bass.
Great with all kinds of power
While we'd recommend using an aftermarket amp to power this system, the KS Series features a highly sensitive design that conjures hefty volume even from low-powered factory radios.Fit matters
The low-profile speakers in this system feature a reduced mounting depth, making them a match for more vehicles than ever. Kicker includes mounting brackets for the woofers, midrange drivers, and tweeters that are specifically designed for select vehicle makes.
Installation note: The woofers and midrange drivers do not include grilles and are designed to fit behind factory grilles or panels.
