The Selenium by JBL 12MB3P is a 12" woofer for midbass professional sound reinforcement. This woofer is capable of supporting 500 watts RMS and is ideal for compact enclosures (closed, vented or horns). High efficiency is achieved through the use of a large ceramic ferrite motor and low mass 100mm (4") diameter aluminum voice coil wound on a fibreglass former. The aluminum die cast frame provides the array with high mechanical resistance. This woofer includes an impregnated cloth surround, stable spider and a large central vent channel for reducing long-term heat build-up. The 12MB3P delivers outstanding midrange and exceptional long term performance.
